ABOUT ...
In the late sixties, Meg graduates from university and faces the formidable task of having to deal with the “real” world. She knows she must find a job, but, to her father’s dismay, she is in no rush to do so. Instead, her love for barrel racing in rodeos takes precedence, and it isn’t until fall that she moves from a Canadian winter to the warm desert sun of Arizona, where she finds work at a thoroughbred racetrack. There she meets Derrick, the love of her life. But then, the unthinkable happens; Derrick is taken from her. With the assistance of a Mexican federale, Meg embarks on a wild, intrepid journey to find her boyfriend, hopefully alive. The question is, will Meg, herself, survive the journey? Keep the Song Going is a fast-paced story with a mix of crime, romance, action, and humour. With a focus on the power of love, it takes readers on a thrilling adventure through Arizona, Texas, and Mexico. Despite some deadly, dark moments—and an underlying thread that touches on the pressing issues of the day—it is meant to entertain and amuse.
